Mock Fish with Dark Soya Sauce

Ingredients

  • - 2 slices of ginger
  • - 6–8 pieces of mock fish
  • - Cooking oil
  • - Sugar
  • - Dark soya sauce
  • - Water

Instructions

  • 1.⁠ ⁠Pan-fry the mock fish with ginger slices until golden brown.
  • 2.⁠ ⁠Remove and set aside.
  • 3.⁠ ⁠In the same pan, add a little cooking oil, sugar, dark soya sauce, and water.
  • 4.⁠ ⁠Stir and simmer the mixture to form a sauce.
  • 5.⁠ ⁠Add the pan-fried mock fish back into the pan and coat well with the sauce.
  • 6.⁠ ⁠Mix a small amount of corn starch with water, then stir it into the pan to thicken the sauce.
  • 7.⁠ ⁠Once the sauce thickens and evenly coats the fish, serve immediately.
