Savory Tofu Scramble with Egg & Turmeric
A quick and protein-packed dish that’s perfect for breakfast or a light meal. Made with crumbled tofu, egg, and turmeric for a golden glow — simple, nourishing, and endlessly versatile.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 100–150g tofu (soft or firm), crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp tamari
  • 1/2 tsp soybean oil (or sesame oil, optional)
  • Pinch of pepper (white or black)
  • Optional add-ins:

  • A few spinach leaves, shredded carrot, or a sprinkle of black sesame
  • Instructions:

  • Crack the egg into a bowl. Add turmeric and tamari/light soy sauce. Beat lightly.
  • Heat soybean oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Add crumbled tofu and stir gently to warm through.
  • Pour in the egg mixture and scramble everything together.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes until egg is set and tofu is golden.
  • Season with pepper and serve warm. Enjoy with toast, greens, or brown rice.
