Ingredients
1 block tofu, cut into thick slices
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp sugar (adjust to taste)
½ cup water
1 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and pan-fry tofu slices until golden brown on both sides.
Pour in dark soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir gently to coat the tofu.
Add water and let the tofu braise for 5–8 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and absorb.
